Mauro Pizza in Hollywood

Worked here for a couple months. Worked extremely hard for them for them to fire and Ban me from the store. The place uses old slices from the day before anyways I wouldn’t want my people to get sick this pizza anyway! Also Air conditioner is always dripping on people’s food it’s disgusting, mold all over the air system horrible! Leo is a great Manager and so are certain employees there but idc anymore hope the best for this place!

Often when I review, I rarely if ever talk about price for the experience. So, in this review, I think is necessary to point out. I ordered a large half-cheese/half-pepporoni pie with 3 bottled drinks and was charged roughly $31. Now, there was nothing extra special about this pizza or the drinks, and I just don't think it is worth it. I am almost sure I could have done better at a different pizza joint. Overall, it was just too expensive for the experience. I will say they are not the only pizza joint that charges a lot for bottled drinks, but the overall package is just too expensive. That meal sould have been $20-$25 tops, including tax. The pizza wasn't bad at all...again price is my issue.

The biggest and one of the greatest pizza you could ever have, their medium start at 18 inches large goes up to 20 inches and extra large goes up to 26 inches. Go only thing is it could be a little salty sometimes but the quality of the pizza is still pretty great! 🍕🍕😋😋

Paid $50 last night for an XL cheese and medium mushroom and onion. My wife, kids and I ate one piece each and threw the rest away. No flavor at all. Was hoping for leftovers the next day. Will heat a frozen pizza next time. Very disappointing

Great huge slices. Some of the best pizza in south florida. Don't ask them to do anything other than what is on the menu though. One slice is equal to at least 2 traditional slices. Highly reccomend.

Good pizza but not great especially for the price.....a dollar for some parmesan cheese that comes in a packet, really? Still good pizza but if they're are going claim that they're New York then they need to step their game up especially with charging for condiments....who's does that

Best pizza in Broward

I usually do not write reviews but this is well deserved. I have been at the pizzeria few times but last time, I realized how bad and unprofessional was the store manager or owner as he mentioned. I went there to order my pizza and use the restroom. He said for no reason that it was closed but it was a lied because his colleagues just gave me a coin and I simply could use the restroom. After I came out of the restroom I asked him "why he needed to lied to me, when I am just a customer that is trying to use a service?" obviously, no answer. "I do understand that we can have a bad day" but there was no reason to act like that, he even claimed to be the owner and cancelled my order and after I did it cancel it, he said he was the manager. I had to call the police to get my refund, which I am still waiting for. Not a good behavior for a business.

Who thought it was a good idea to make pizza slices the size of a man's chest?!?! They did! And it is supremely awesome. It's your typical tasty pizza too. But be warned you should really use cash here as the minimum is high and there is an extra charge for any cards, though they do have an ATM, bring your own cash anyways.

One of my first and one of my favorite pizza places in Broward. I absolutely love this place. Pizza by slice for an exceptional price. Or buy a massive extra large pizza and have fun trying to fit it in your car. It was cash only but they take cards now. Go here for a quick slice and a NY experience. No indoor seating, it's a walk by and grab a delicious slice restaurant. I always come back!

It need more cheese and then it will be a 5 star i am from New York City i am visiting

Favorite no-frills, take-out pizza joint in South Florida. I wish I lived closer to Downtown Hollywood. They serve New York style pizza which is thin yet still soft. I love adding beef and mushroom to my slice. The slices are huge; I can only eat one at a time. Careful when you order though: toppings are $1 each! Good customer service. I know they get pretty busy on the weekend nights but when I went in on a weeknight, I was the only customer and didn’t have to wait long at all. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a very good experience here with my kid. The food comes rapidly and the service is just great. Prices are fair.

The slices are huge. The Mushroom and Hawaiian pizza are are top too picks. Dominic has it down to a science. Leo the general manager runs a great store. Always open late for the late night crowd.

Great location, delicious pizza 🍕 and the worse customer service, is hard to support small and local businesses when employees makes you feel unwelcoming. The effort put by owners to stay a float is waisted by bad employees. I am not happy writing this but I hope the owner applies changes to continuing serving customers and creating better experiences.

Original New York style pizza. Always get served by courteous and professional staff. Whether the employees are adults or teenagers, they're always maintain a professional standards. Always look forward in going there.

Great quick spot to get a few slices. I don't think there's a ton of places in the area but this has to be one of the better ones. Fresh ingredients, great taste, and the slices are huge. And it's pretty inexpensive. Hard to beat. Go check it out!Pizza Adventures: Destination #57

I ordered 2 pizzas. One was made incorrectly and I nicely brought it to their attention so they could fix my order. They were extremely rude and refused to fix THEIR mistake. Will never go back.

Pizza is not what they used to be. Almost $5 for one topping for a slice and half the size it used to be. Sadly hollywood circle and this establishment that was once the staple of the best pizza is now the worst pizza.

Came yesterday to get a slice and was very disappointed.. The slice was so small and maybe 5 pieces of pepperoni and probobly half the size I always got. Been coming here for at least 10 years. Asked for the manager and told him my issue. He refused to give me another slice and refused to give me my money back. So I left the pizza on the counter and walked out pist off...

I used to love this place for their oversized pizza slices and overall taste. My recent visit however, has curved that appeal. They served me a burned pizza. Had I not paid in advanced I would have walked away without it. I mentioned it to the young lady upfront but she insited "it stayed in the oven for only a few extra minutes".....I did not want to take a chance of sending it back so I took it home...so disappointed. It was bitter, there's nothing worst than burned dough...uggh

Having lived in NY/NJ I have tried quite a few different pizza places. Some of the best in the country.I have to say I have tried about 10 different pizza places around Hollywood area and this place makes the best pizza (thin and crispy) tastes great!Very good job Mauros pizza!! Keep making the same delicious pizza!! We’ll be back soon!

This used to be a good place with good pizza which is the only reason I'm leaving three stars and not one. I got a cheese pizza with veggies, the toppings alone added up to be more than the actual pizza but that's not what I'm upset about. What I'm upset about is that the toppings were just thrown on and the pizza tasted like rubber. Not sure if I'll go again, it's a shame because I used to go all the time and now I remember why I stopped.

Tasty Pizza for sure. It can be a little more clean, perhaps even updated, but when it comes to pizza, it is very good. I liked it. Hard to find parking, but there is public parking nearby. Will eat there again.

Honestly they have great pizza but they have the worst attitude. Always rude to me and my boyfriend when we go in. Everytime we call to order we get put on hold for an hr an get hung up on.

I'm not sure if I was here at a bad time because my visit was not worth 4+ stars. The only reason i give this place 2 stars is because of the crust. The crust was perfectly baked and had a delicious crunch to it. The toppings were dripping with oils and we just ordered a cheese pizza. The guy taking the orders were really rude and his attitude was so bad.

Very disappointing. This place used to be the best NYC style down here, without fail. The last couple of years it's just gone downhill, and still disappointing. Pizza tastes old when when toasted in the oven the dough is soggy under the sauce, not cheesy at all and the slices are getting smaller.

Very disappointed in my favorite pizza shop. Ordered pizza online at 7 o’clock. They said 20 minutes. Got another email saying 7:50. Ok that was fine. I show up at 7:50 and they forgot to make my 2 extra large pizzas. Spent $50 on the pizzas. They tell me 10 minutes. Ok fine. 20 minutes later the pizza is ready. I asked if they could throw in some Parmesan for the inconvenience. I was told no. Really? I’m a regular customer, just spent $50 and they couldn’t even throw in a $1.50 thing of Parmesan that most pizza shops give away for free? Very disappointed.
